The FRANK ORIGINAL brand from Hatzfeld in Hesse has stood for quality and technical leadership in the European agricultural technology sector for many years. Founded in 1836 from the Reddighäuser Hammer, FRANK Walz- und Schmiedetechnik and its subsidiaries now have almost 500 employees at four locations and manufacture wear parts for mowers, plows, cultivators, rollers and other agricultural machinery. The company can supply 12,000 different products. From the idea to the design to the finished product, everything is created under one roof.

Quality and market leadership are not left to chance: The tools are called investment and innovation. In the 2020s, two companies were acquired that expanded FRANK ORIGINAL's portfolio to include cutting knives and spring tines, with the latter becoming increasingly important in the context of sustainable, organic farming. The use of modern laser technology, supported by AI-controlled robots, has doubled the degree of automation in production to 55% since 2020.

The company is driven by a strong desire to innovate, which is reflected in the motto "Courage to break new ground". The FRANK CAMPUS, founded in 2021, bundles research and development projects close to the university, which can then be tested in collaboration with the company's technical project management and farmers from the region: Be it components for autonomous field robots, injection coulters for liquid fertilizer application, bio-based adhesives to replace the usual soldered joints or ways to avoid microplastics entering the fields. The results of this dedicated interdisciplinary research are remarkable. FRANK ORIGINAL received the "German Raw Material Efficiency Award" in 2022 for the development of a new type of coating concept.

Looking ahead is an integral part of the company's philosophy and also involves its employees. In addition to skilled worker training and dual study programs, there are further training programs for temporary workers and employees in all areas, with a strong focus on individual development.

A good work-life balance, a strong sense of "we" in the workforce, clear communication and respectful treatment explain the many years of service at the company, which have lasted 25 years or more. FRANK ORIGINAL supports its employees in their voluntary work in associations through sponsorship and time off work, and is also involved in numerous local sports and cultural associations.

FRANK ORIGINAL offers the right tools for the future of young talent through its close cooperation with regional kindergartens, schools and vocational colleges: From internships to "Girls Days" and training fairs to subject-specific contributions and participation in examination boards for apprentices, senior employees of the company are also involved in the region.
